I am Afghan American. :D

When did you start programming? How long have you been programming?

I started programming in my second year of college. I have been programming for three and a half years.

Why did you choose to do programming?

I wanted to choose a career where I would never get bored.

Did you go to school or are you self-taught?

A combination of both. I am currently pursuing a bachelors in Computer Science. I also learn web development and frameworks outside of university through online resources.

Can you teach me how to code? Can you be my mentor?

I do not have plans to teach/mentor anybody at the moment- this may change in the future.

What do you do?

I am currently an intern at a non-profit called CodeClubs. We work towards decreasing the gender gap in technology, specifically in programming. At CodeClubs, I work on miscellaneous tasks such as social media marketing, teaching, and developing the organization's website https://codeclubs.org

What are your hobbies outside of programming?

I love video games! I also really enjoy drawing, designing, and cooking.

What is your tech stack?

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React (in progress).

What are your favorite tools for front-end?

I use Visual Studio Code to develop and Sketch to design layouts.
